Caleb and Kelsey Closs are the passionate husband-and-wife team behind Verdant DBM Inc., a thriving landscaping company known for its craftsmanship, creativity, and commitment to excellence.
With nearly two decades of experience in the landscaping industry, Caleb first discovered his love for the trade 18 years ago. In 2012, driven by a vision to create something of his own, he made the life-changing decision to pursue formal training in landscape design at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. To fund his education and new venture, he sold his boat and snowmobiles and started a one-man landscaping business during his summer breaks, while working for a snow removal company plow snow during the school year.
Having known each other for years, Caleb and Kelsey reconnected once he moved to London—and soon after, they got married. Kelsey quickly became an integral part of the business, bringing a shared dedication and complementary skills that helped shape the company’s direction and growth.
Together, over the course of 10+ years, they transformed that small 1 person start-up into the thriving venture known as Verdant DBM Inc., a full-service landscaping firm with a talented team of 30 to 50 employees. Today, they offer a wide range of expert landscaping services, combining thoughtful design, precise execution, and a deep-rooted passion for outdoor spaces.

SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER
Brett began his journey in the landscape industry in 2012 and quickly discovered a passion for transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments for clients. After studying Business Marketing and Landscape Design at Fanshawe College, he focused his expertise on managing a wide range of landscape installation projects in the Greater Toronto Area. His current focus has been building relationships with established properties on their maintenance goals as well as enhancement opportunities that encompass all aspects of the landscape industry. Whether it’s maintaining & enhancing established properties or installing new landscapes, Brett is quick to express his passion for working with clients on their goals. Brett is known for his collaborative approach to projects and his belief that every landscape is as unique as a snowflake—each one offering distinct challenges and opportunities for creative, custom-tailored solutions.
